Last pieces needed are now done. I've ordered a set of rapid sport pedal covers, 2 new cameras and will start adding my own touches now everything taxi wise is done.

I find my Sport pedal covers dangerous as my feet always slip on them when they're wet. Stupid design :(

Lol I'll be keeping the original covers but I had Leon cupra r covers on my mk4 golf and found them fine. Time will tell haha, I just think they'll wear better than the rubber covers that's on at presennt with it being a taxi

I've got the sport pedal covers, were one of the first extras I bought (used the reason you mention to justify the cost of them to the wife lol)

I've covered over 6,000 miles with them fitted in plenty of wet days, never found my feet to slip off them or for them to feel dangerous.

John? Lots of YTS cabs near my old workplace.

YTS = Yvonne's Taxi Service?

Bought some team heko wind deflectors and fitted them yesterday. Just a couple of bits to do and the car will be how I want it!

Do they keep the windows open slightly or are they the stick on type?

Heko wind deflectors fit into the window channel alongside the edge of the glass, they do not obstruct the closing of the window in any way and the glass will still close fully.

Was that referring to my number plate JTS?

It's my initials, but I suppose it could also be John's Taxi Service :-)

As chrisgreen said, they go into the window channel and don't affect the windows in anyway. Don't use the clips supplied though as they don't need them, they sit pretty tight in the channel

Do they generate any wind noise?

BTW, I saw a Toledo the same colour as this is Milton Keynes yesterday. It looked very smart!

No you don't get any wind noise. I had them on my Octavia and was nice not to get wet with the window slightly open.

Yeah, that's what I want them for! :)

Do you, by any chance, smoke? :notme:

I smoke but I never smoke in any of my cars I've owned.
