Featured Replies

Didn't know Carl but could see from his posts he was passionate about his car and it's condition.

Such a loss, thoughts to his family at this time.

RIP.

Sad, sad news, Chris

:(

Aww man. Never met Carl but spoke to him a couple of times on threads on here. I really do hate that condition. So so much.

RIP Carl. Thoughts with anyone who knew him.

RIP Carl  - thoughts with Amy and his family at this difficult time.

So sad to hear of his passing , as like with my friend Richard who died even younger was so upbeat and lived life to the end and great sense of humour . Hope you still read this section mate .

Indeed a sad day. Sorry for your loss Chris and of course thoughts and best wishes to Carl's family.

Not nice to hear, RIP.

Bit poignant for me at moment as my best mate has been battling the C word for a few years, thought we were over it and came back this week needing emergency chemo next week.  Its a crap disease and it always seems to afflict the good people, never the toss pots of this world.

condolences to his family and friends

Sad to here this news. My thoughts are with you and his family at this sad time Chris.

Like others, I didn't know Carl, but recognise the username from the forums. A sad day indeed. RIP chap.

So sad to hear this news, my thoughts are with his friends and family. Thanks for posting Chris.

RIP Carl,

I never met the guy or spoke to him. But through this forum, mostly this section, I got to know him a little and valued his opinions and experiences.

He will be missed on here, but that is insignificant compared to his family and friend's loss.

My thoughts are with all those who knew him personally.

So sorry to hear this, RIP mate.

I couldn't put it better than this. I enjoyed his posts, even when they were photos of his dazzling Yeti after I'd spent ages cleaning mine which then looked look bland in comparison! I didn't realise until later how much effort that sometimes took him. RIP Carl.

RIP Carl, A Yeti and Detailing legend. I am so sad.

RIP to a fellow Briskodian.

Sad news. RIP Carl.

An inspiration, always positive and helpful.

Will miss your presence here.

I spoke to Amy last night (Carl's Wife)

She is very pleased by the comments and has asked me to pass on her thanks

She continues to support Manorlands (There will be a Donations plate at the Funeral) and is very happy for me to continue to take Donations also

Carl loved cleaning and Detailing his cars and would have wanted this to continue

Thank you all for your condolences and Donations

Hi guys, I knew Carl for 22 years and we were close friends. Safe to say I'm gutted at this news as he was a wonderful guy and the world is a little less bright now he's gone.

Before his death Carl was going to do my car for me, he had genuine excitement for detailing but sadly, circumstances stopped Carl from helping with my car.

So with this in mind I would like to try it for myself as it would give me a little insight I to what my mate enjoyed to do.

What products do I need as a beginner?

Thanks in advance

Mark.

Ps I will be donating tonight
