Hi Guys I have the standard citigo a 2013 model can anyone tell me if the passenger door should operate the interior light?

yes. :)

Hi mate I took it to dm keith at wakefield they said it didn't if they are lying someones in for a bad time what about the rear doors should they operate the interior light as well?

I'm sorry... My mistake... I've got Seat Mii 3 door late 62...

All door and back door operate interior light...

I have a 2013 SE model, and all four passenger doors operate the interior light.

If the rear lights don't turn on it may be a wiring fault somewhere.. water ingress perhaps, does the boot turn the interior light on when it opens? It should do

Hi the Interior Light works on the drivers door and boot only the back doors and passenger side don't operate the light I was told by the skoda garage that the the interior light would only work off the two doors I don't believe them the cars still under skoda warranty and if this is a fault it wants putting right I had a fabia for 5 years and was so happy with it and I can't believe that operating the interior light on all the doors is not a standard feature the book says it is the skoda dealer says as its not central locking its not a normal feature.  I can't believe that its not a standard feature that the interior light comes on when any of the doors are open on the car just for safety.

Flipping nora the light doesn't even work with the passenger door open? Get it booked in, clearly something not right there, lets hope its not major and its a simple case of the plug coming loose or something

Change yours Skoda garage for another one... All door electric signals are going to Central Electronic Module. They are used by Alarm as well...

Is there a skoda customer service centre I can ring?  I can't believe that I was treated like this I bought the car from the car people and I would never buy anything from them again they fobbed me off to skoda and I loved my fabia that I had before, but if this is how a skoda garage treats you I won't buy skoda again!  The worst thing is that its till under skoda warranty till next year!

They clearly did nothing as theres a dead wasp in the interior light I only noticed when I looked at the light clearly I had to buy the car in a rush and I only noticed these faults as I have been driving the car the car people kept me waiting for it 4 days even when I had paid for it then they just tried to sell me extra warranty and rubbish when i picked up the car I wasn't happy and am even more unhappy now!

Hope it gets sorted for you bud, I've heard it so many times where people have been treated like **** from there dealer, I was lucky, despite Westover Skoda being crap there was another smaller Skoda dealer not affiliated with them a few miles away, if you get no where with SCS then go on there Skoda UK Facebook page and send them a private message, bare in mind it is Friday so you may not get a response until Mon/Tue as they'll need to clear any backlog of queries over the weekend

I may just go to the car people and demand a refund I have contacted skoda and see what they come back with I don't think its good enough after 5 happy years with a fabia I expected more and its all wrong!

Does anyone else own the citigo s model?

I've got a 13 plate S but I'll not be back in the UK till Sunday. Open to any questions after that.

All doors including the hatch activate the interior light

Skoda are now trying to say the doors will only activate the interior light if the car as central locking I can honestly say I won't buy another Skoda I may go down the watchdog route because at best this is a safety issue and serious penny pinching at worst they keep lying to me.

Skoda customer service are not helpful

My S has the"comfort" pack with c/l, elec windows etc.so I can't comment on what they have said. Looking at my May 2013 brochure it says that there is an interior light with delay but there is no mention in the options of it working on more doors if you have the comfort pack. I think you need to find another bog standard S to check it out.

Write a post on there Facebook page, usually the Facebook Team will take a while to reply but are generally reasonable and should try and help, usually they'll ask for your reg and a email address

Or complain on Twitter

Before complaining..on twitter/facebook...you really need to get someone to confirm the central locking thing.

The basic S spec is as basic as it comes with no central locking or electric windows, so it could well be they do not connect other doors.

Must be someone on here with a basic S.

Your thread title doesn't help attract the right response can it be edited to say the problem (mods?)

What title do you suggest mate?

Citigo S interior lights?

Mind you its had over 650 views, so maybe no one owns a basic "S" ?

I haven't looked at a CitiGo Brochure but both Yetis I bought started with the S spec (or originally E) and listed the basic features. Then each Model jump listed the additions over the previous one. Each one also listed factory fit options which bridged the differences so you could choose the one closest to your budget without paying out for things you didn't want. Although it was often more economic to buy the next higher model!

Is this not the same with the CitiGo? It certainly was when we bought my wife's Mii, that's why we got the Sport. It sounds a bit silly to buy a Sport for a 72 year old lady but the additional cost (on 0%PCP was £2/month! No brainer.
