HELP**** MAP High circuit input FaultCode

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 2013 1.4 fabia RS recently my EML came on so i plugged it in and it was throwing up the codes Manifold Absolute Pressure High input not sure whats up with it. Performance wise its not on the power at all compared to before when im booting it it will pull hard till around 5500rpm then start to drop off and the last 1000 drags and feels asif there is no power at all any suggestions ?

Will Post exact codes and descriptions next time i scan the codes

Many thanks

Inlet Manifold, or other intake leaks likely.

But before doing other stuff.

How many miles has it done, have the spark plugs been checked and replaced, and has it had a Software Update at any services.?

Are you running it on only 97 or 99 ron petrol, or does it get 95 ron ?

Does booting it to 5,500 rpm and letting it change gear not have it above 100 mph in 4th or 5th.?

Does it have an aftermarket BOV fitted?

Or any other mods?

the Engine as was before the CAVE / CTHE

132 kw

Have you changed the Spark Plugs yet,

or looked at the condition of the Air Filter?

I know of a member here with a late 2012 CTHE that fitted a new Fuel Filter after having had the same Code,

and then as far as i know had no issues.

He has not been on the forum for a while though.
