Those are genuine pictures of the real ride height - not like the brochure

Yes, thought it was useful to share them rather than the photo shop ones.

Picked it up yesterday and went for an early morning run out to Cheddar Gorge. I think it looks great in white with the black wheels and roof etc. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk

  • My Dione are also very kerb-sensitive, already scratched front left one The SportMaxx however has saved my *ss several times as they feature an edge that protects you from mild side to side touches.

  • Found some better photos...   The rear end looks to need a few flag stones in the boot though !!

Update - car pushed back to 21st JAN

Almost getting worth delaying to 1 Mar for a 16 plate.

I've not even collected my SE Tech yet, and I'm wishing I had held out for a sport. Originally I wasn't keen on the glass roof or tailgate, but the more pictures I see the more I like it.

Those seats are fabulous too.

Enjoy it when it arrives!

Can you not change your order then?

No, it was a bit of a spontaneous purchase and I bought an ex-demo, collect it next week. I'll be happy with it I hope :)

From my experience it's an OK car - if bought at the right price.

Slightly off topic, but that looks like a different design of arm rest to ours.  Have they redesigned it so it no longer interferes with handbrake operation?

not sure - but it very much looks like the one i had in my B6 2003 Audi A4 !!!  my Audi one used to tilt and opens for storage

Just happened to be in the Skoda dealer today.  It has been updated and is slightly shorter than the version in our 2014 SE, BUT, it's every bit as obstructive to using the handbrake.  Also, LOVE that seat fabric.

Edited by naxtek

When it's in position to support the elbow, it obstructs the gear lever as well.  It's only any use on the motorway (when it's nice to have TBH).

I must be the only person who doesn't get that quilted fabric - it doesn't seem go with anything else in the interior.  I much liked the older sports seats with the red cloth.

Seats and armrest appear to have been taken from the Fabia III; assume to cut cost through commonality of parts.

They look smart!

I like them too. I wonder if a retrofit is possible :rubchin:

Ive just put a deposit down on one and apparently they have one at the port already in the spec i wanted so i should have it by middle of Jan. Loving the look of the seats as ive not seen a sport before. Is it worth getting the system link to use Android Auto?

Have Savio's on our old spec SE with sport pack as a dealer bought option (removed from a new Blackline as the owner wanted Rays) and noted they are made by Ronal, which I understand have a good reputation for alloys.

Ronal supplied the ford motorsport wheels for the escortRS1600i in 1983 and the subsequent RS turbo, the wheels on my 16i are still going strong 32 years later

Oh the Camelot factory rims which I'm now planning on using for winter are also by Ronal.

Car due to be delivered on or around the 28th of this month :)

I pick mine up on Friday :) Looking forward to it. Should feel like a big upgrade to my Ibiza

It does inside.  I have one of each and the interior in the Rapid/Toledo feels a whole lot nicer than the Ibiza one.
