sd card audio

Featured Replies

Hoping to take delivery of my VRS this week (dealer called me last week to say its on way to UK, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!), got a quick question regarding the SD audio interface, is it simply drag and drop audio files onto an SD card or do they have to be in a particular format to play inside the car?

Just drag and drop chap.

I have mine organised in folders by Artist & Album when browsing the "folder" view.

But as FluffMeister says, you can just drag & drop.

Even your iTunez folder & you can still view as normal via the "artist", "album", "genre" views from the embedded tags.

Best off being in albums, but yeah drag and drop. I've got a 128gb card in mine and works fine. There's a limit to how many files per folder it will recognise, but its in the 100's IIRC.

if you want a list of albums/artists to appear on your car screen then you should organise them that way on the card.
