Long story short,DON'T !

i've had some problems with our new superb mk2, tcm shorting can bus, and the car goes haywire ! first logical thing was to obtain a vag-com cable, importing one here is really hard and takes time, and while searching for a local seller i found one that sells the clones, i got one but didn't work and i returned it and the seller replaced it with a vag-commander.

i located a shop with a genuine vag-com cable, and when i told him my story he flipped, and proceded to to tell me how he replaced dozens of can gateways which got damaged by a clone. and they're not cheap here.

I know that thing is pricey, but compared to the manufacturer tool that thing is really cheap !

ordered mine, could take about a month or two, but i'll wait
