I would like to ask did anyone try already to disable Start/Stop function ? I was trying to find something about deactivation this system and all what I found is that for VCDS it's not possible only you can switch it off by Vag Can Pro with One Click Function. Did anyone already try to disable this system because is very anoying :/

You probably can do it with VCDS, if you PM me the adaptation map from the CAN Gateway I'll have a look. Normally tweaking the voltage settings sorts it, did you try this? You have to fool Start Stop in to thinking the battery voltage is too low and it then remains disabled.

I know this but then you have all the time warrning on your dashboard. I hear that sombody mange to deactivate it dompletly. When you start engine Start/Stop is off when you press Start/Stop button system is on

- OCF "Disabling Start / Stop" in MQB/MLB cars now has 2 options: Total deactivation and option for setting "reverse" behaviour of Start/stop switch. When reversed behaviour is activated, then   control LED will lit when Start/Stop is enabled, and will be turned off when Start/Stop is disabled.

Yep, seen that, but VagTech have admitted in the forums that the description is a bit misleading, it only works on MLB, and all it does is reverse the behaviour of the switch illumination is my understanding.

So it mean tak on MQB there is only option number two ? Anyway I'm planing to buy this cable because on VCDS it's not possible to activate VIM etc.

I'm just planing to buy new cable and I'm thinking about VCP because for VCDS it's not possible to activate VIM.

VIM is additional cost now with VCP.

Correct, and it works perfect.

It will just show it as not being available on the dash. So it will still be activated but it will never stop the engine because it's looking for a voltage that will never happen.

I don't know what a Skoda says but on a Honda it will have a message when you stop with your foot on the brake that says "Stop/Start not available".  This is to let you know that the parameters for stop/start haven't been met and not to think it's broken.  I don't find it annoying as it goes away as soon as you take your foot off the brake.

 

Here's how you can do it on a Golf - Superb will be similar.  This method changes the temperature parameters as well but it isn't absolutely necessary.

Ok thank's In this case I think that I will buy VCDS instead of VCP which is mor complicated and have weak support.

VCP deactivated start stop in my 2014 S2 FL. Vcds could never do that. I don't find the voltage and temp adaptations on my car. But VCP did it with OFC procedure :-) I have both cables. Not fake ones.

So if you look at the adaptations on your CAN gateway the adaptation channels for the voltage and temperature aren't there?

How it's possible if mtl and another users did it on Superb III ?

Correct... No adaption channel for voltage and temperature in can gateway...

 

Run procedure... The car gets the A with unable to start stop symbole everytime..

 

Reset to normal (undoing) the car start stops all the time!

Superb3 and Octavia 3 are MQB so you are comparing apples with oranges as the saying goes
