Applied Autobrite Direct Ghost Rider (windscreen Rain repellent) at the weekend. It was an upgrade to my order as something went wrong during the xmas sale.

Drove home tonight in drizzle, wow this stuff is amazing, water threw itself off the windscreen!

I've used Rain-X in the past and that was pretty good, but Ghost Rider is on another level, the beads ran faster and at a lot lower speed.

For once I cannot wait for it to rain to see what happens in proper rain.

I did the windscreen, both front side windows and the rear window and didn't use much at all.

No idea on how long it lasts or how it degrades over time, rain-x was pretty bad when it broke down the last week or so made visibility worse!

Sounds great!! Keep us posted on how long it lasts. Thanks for the review on it, mate.

Sounds really good Kevin - let us know how the durability works out.

At the moment i'm using Gtechniq G5 and apply twice a year for exceptional performance.

Looks like you applied it just in time...... :rain: :rain: :rain:  all this week pretty much!

It would have been if I'd have gone for the full size wax pot instead of the 50ml ;-)

I received a Gyeon Silk Dryer the other day (http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/drying-towels/gyeon-q2m-silk-dryer/prod_1630.html) and gave it a try today, I was very impressed. Just dragged it over the car and it absolutely drank the water, knocked a few minutes off the normal drying time.

I also gave the Angelwax Fastfoam a second go to see if I could get any better results than the first time I used it, disappointingly I didn't and it didn't shift anything like the amount of dirt that the Obsession Wax Blizzard snow foam did.

On a better note I also had a first try with the Wolfs Chemicals shampoo and that was very good, plenty of suds, nice and slick and cleaned well. Only downside was there was no particular scent with it....though I do have a cold so it could have been me.

Thanks for the feedback. I get on with Fast Foam, so Obsession Blizzard sounds like one to try out!

On White Satin by Wolfs Chemicals, it's got a slight scent but I think it's aimed at being a pure shampoo. I love it though. Decent price and you only need 20ml in a 10l bucket.

Great feedback on the products KR. I myself like Angelwax fast foam. It's a shame you don't get on with it. Although don't let it put you off the rest of the range. Some cracking products from them!

The drying towel looks like a great buy as does the shampoo!

but always looking for improved dryinv towels.

Can you give us an update after a few washes and confirm it is still performing well KR?
