replacemnet for Roomster

Featured Replies

sadly heard from Skoda UK that there are no plans for a Roomster Mark2, so it is the end of a very practical car, which means I shall have to look at another make

I'd not heard that. It does sound odd as I thought it was settling. Maybe like the rapid it's just not got enough traction in a crowded space. A downside of so many models.

When I exited my roomster I considered briefly a yeti. Wasn't quite right on paper, maybe an option?

Skoda has a new CEO,

and there is a little trouble in the Volkswagen Group someone mentioned,

so i would not count anything in or out until the VW Group finish reorganising the Deck Chairs on the Titanic.

They might just need Skoda to start turning out Skoda badged vehicles that were maybe going to be badged with a VW.

Skoda UK and Alasdair Stewart UK Brand Director and his little team will get what they are told to import and promote and get selling.

I had the same dilemna when my Fiat Multipla needed to be replaced. I chose the Roomster because it is an estate, van and saloon car morphed into one. I suppose a model from the Dacia range would suffice as they offer remarkable value for money and a lot are seen on the streets in France; other than that choices are limited.

Might do. Dacia offers value that Skoda offered before raising prices due to increased market share success

Saw a Volkswagen Caddy with seats the other day. Why Skoda has not rejigged this model is beyond me
