Briskoda have put me off Skoda

Featured Replies

As I  pointed out in a previous thread , which has been stopped , two  that have remained unobtainable, we now have another locked viz. " Posted Today, 12:40

There's no conspiracy here - just a problem that isn't the easiest one to fix.
IIRC Colin updates one of the other threads with the latest news so I'll lock this thread.
Not hide, not delete, just lock. ;-) .  so in effect no discussion can take place on the main thread  of the USA recall nor of the three that have followed. Why Briskoda are so keen as to prevent   discussion by members is known only to them but it certainly  does not enhance  confidence in the Skoda brand, it being already under  a cloud.  May we be told which thread it is that  " Colin "  updates, but that of course by the phraseology one assumes  any furtherance  of that thread will consist solely of what Colin wishes to  give us . I cannot  remove from my mind the possibility  that  not only will members be unable to take part but I get the impression Briskoda  are not happy with discussion on the recall matter at all. Whether that is due to outside  pressure only they will know but when I looked  at the latest/locked thread I noticed  apart from myself looking at it,  Skoda UK were also doing so. I wonder if the various firms of lawyers  intending to act on behalf of Skoda owners  are aware of the " interest " being shown by Skoda UK on this recall matter within a discussion group such as Briskoda, one that we are given to understand is entirely independent , especially from Skoda UK?

You've got this sooo wrong dude.

Step away from the computer, have a beer, stop dreaming up frankly ridiculous conspiracy theories.

If there is no conspiracy to stop this topic why not start a new thread "emissions scandle 2 continued"then see what happens.

I don't think Briskoda or skoda are losing out.

Tony R,

maybe leave the Conspiracy Theory stuff to me and a few resident nutters,

and forget 'Briskoda'  the Skoda Forum  as being part of the Volkswagen Scandal and Conspiracy to cheat customers.

We landed on the Moon and the Titanic sunk!! Get over it

We landed on the Moon.....

No we didn't :bandit:

We landed on the Moon

Prove it?.......and no they didn't take any Lurpak butter.....................or did they

Tony R having belonged over the years to five other forums, I can assure you that Colin is by far the most liberal and free speech conscious forum owner I have ever come across.

He donates large amounts of his time so we can enjoy what we have - I can think of 3 forums that would have shut threads like the emissions one down by page 10.

I see no conspiracy here, more of a fairly big **** up by the system - we are all human and make mistakes, I know I definitely do.

Best advice is sit back and relax for 24 hours and let nature take it's course.

System failure caused the first, massive topic to go into meltdown, that's all. Now, I've started another topic so go and fill it and don't start arguing or I'll lock and hide it myself.

We landed! Fact! They used a giant treadmill which had some sort of perfect reverse thrust thing and the rocket took off and landed on the Moon with James Brolin and O.J. Simpson on board

Is this the Lurpak moon landing thread   :notme:

I'll add it to the poll in the MX5 thread..

Hooray another conspiracy theory thread   we haven't had one for ages....

how long before the tin foil hat brigade get this locked?  :D

Got upset by something on a forum not run by a car manufacturer, so put off buying one of their cars

Let me just mull that one over

Now you put the it like that Brimm it all seams reasonable.

Damn Briskoda! What have you done!?

This Briskoda Exposed thread probably has our resident bond villain Colin sat in one of his secret underground bunkers protected by laser sharks stroking his bald cat trying to decide who he will make the next US president in order to get Guantanamo reopened to finally silence the pesky OP for leaking this all.

just reread the OP and i think he suspects that "Colin" doesn't really exist and this website is run by the big bad VW group who are spying on our every move.

i have never met anyone off this forum but if Colin doesn't exit then its a pretty good cover up!  :notme:  :D   :peek:  :x

"COLIND" if thats his real name.... ;)

Has been telling us for weeks about the migration of the entirety of brisky to a new platform. This is bound to have a few errors and problems, hardly a surprise that a sprawling mess of a thread like the emmissions thread woukd suffer in the move. Bear in mind the driver recorder thread has been restarted a few timesdue to it getting all buggy and breaky down as it got too big..

Theres no conspiracy, and if vw were really paying attn to a forum like this, their would be a 500+ bhp vrs version of the citigo and yeti and fabia available to drive away from every dealers in europe...

Edit- there would also have been recalls regarding oil consumption, stretched cam chains etc.

You forgot Sam Waterston, and they landed on Mars.  Perhaps we should get Elliot Gould to find the missing threads?
