I couldn't justify Smart light assist with Lane Assist & blind spot detection @ £950, or Canton at £600. It must be said though that I really did want it but SWMBO VETO'd that for 19" Phoenix alloys instead.

Now all that has to happen is delivery on time sometime in May 16! Nervous is not the word.

I'm off to Canada for 4 mths and will collect on return, just hope it arrives on time and as ordered.

What leather is 'PL1'? I hope it's not beige. I got a call the other day saying Skoda couldn't supply beige leather interior and we'd be getting black leather for our Se L Exec. :(

It should be full black leather (not black Alcantara) or I will not be a happy bunny come May!

I could live with black Alcantara but neither in beige, plus my darling wife would reject the car anyway as she holds the overall veto.

I don't rate KESSY after a colleague had both his keyless Range Rover Sports pinched from his drive. They cloned his key the police reckoned by sitting outside his house in middle of the night with some simple to buy hardware and a little knowhow on a laptop.

My friends home fitted CCTV caught someone coming over a neighbours fence on a couple of different occasions late at night in the two weeks running up to the theft where they then sat or of sight vaulting the data on both his cars keys.

Then one day two guys walked up his drive watched by his wife from the kitchen window, the lights of the two cars both flashed, the guys got in and disappeared as quick as they had appeared. Both cars had trackers but within 30 mins both had gone quiet. That was 8 ish mths ago and to this day no cars recovered.

So, even if a Superb is not a RRSport, pressing a button on a key is just fine by me.

As for the options I picked, I seriously considered specing up an SE Business to near the same cost as an SE L (& I could have all the options I wanted - the ones I didn't want as standard on the SE L) but reckoned that come resale I would lose a lot more ££££!

Interesting that beige leather unavailable even in exec.... I was cheesed off that it wasn't available on business despite being in the pictures, but not even on exec?!
