Which factory is the RAPID made in ? plus Xmas shut down?

 

Just wondering if the RAPID delivery date of late Jan is realistic? read that the factory where the superb is built is shut for 2 weeks in Jan though..

Could be as accurate as any given wikipedia article, but Wikipedia points to it being made in the Czech factory, Mladá Boleslav.

Rapids made for the EU market are indeed made in Mladá Boleslav. Russian ones are made in Russia.

Mladá Boleslav is Skoda's main facility and looks quite impressive having driven past it back in 2011. Believe the current Octavia and Fabia are also manufactured there, as are small capacity petrol engines and other parts.

 

Would imagine not much production will happen in weeks 52 and 53 2015 and no I'm not going mad;
