Question For Big K

Featured Replies

My Fabia SDi estate is used as a taxi, doing something like a thousand miles per week (15 months old now done 53k). I'm having trouble with the front anti-roll bar, which the dealer has agreed to change for the modified one, as well as changing the bushes on the lower arms. I went in 2 weeks ago, and they couldn't do the job for a month! Now that both of the sleeves on the roll bar have popped out of the clamps, the front end is banging and crashing all over the place! And, I have another 2 weeks and 2k hard miles to go. Am I likely to do further damage, and will this be covered by the warranty? Thank you in advance!

the only damage you can do is to the anti-roll bar it's self but i presume they are replacing the bar this shouldn't matter btw i had the same on a fabia and i removed anti-roll bar clamps wound insulation tape around the bar as a temp fix and the bloody thing is still going after about 3 months!

Many thanks for the reply. I'll try the 'bodge' this weekend.
