My Fabia was in Corrida Red and it polished up beautifully. I miss that colour. My next car will be solid red.

Never had a red car, normally either Silver/black/white so will be good to have a change!

I've got an Octavia mk3 but had an SE spec Fabia with the 1 litre engine courtesy when mine was in for a service. I was shocked to find afterwards it was standard no options as it seemed such a good spec! Despite a "sorry it's only a 1 litre" comment from the service guy at the start I thought it was perfectly good performance for my 30 mile round trip on a roads to work and back.

Definitely on my shortlist when we become a 2 car household later this year.

Steve.

I just looked at honest johns car reviews. I can not see a 1 litre Octavia. The smallest one is a 110PS 1.2LTR.

The quote above does not mention a 1.0 Octavia just a 1.0 SE Fabia Courtesy car.

Bearing in mind that there is a 1.0 litre Golf now squeezing out 115ps, maybe the possibility of a 1.0 litre Octavia is feasible.

Just had an email confirming my build week - Build week 8  which I believe to be week starting 22nd Feb, so they think I should still be on target to get it mid-late March!!

Oh and my brother has now ordered (from stock) a Candy White Fabia SE-L DSG 1.4TDi he's getting it in 2 weeks!  :dull: told him that I don't want to see it before mine arrives LOL -- Am I being silly?  :x
