Putting this here but could go in a few locations...

Today is the 4th birthday of my membership... infact, in 2hrs time, i will own my octy for exactly 4years!

I met a briskodian 15mins after driving out of the dealers... he parked beside me in tesco while i was swapping my stuff over from the boot of my dads tucson which id been driving since my cordoba decided to die just before that christmas.

he showed me how to open the fuel filler cap, other than the behind the boot liner.. i thought the switch on dash was a very prominent low fuel light as the dealer had put a 1/4tank in before i took it

told me about briskoda, and i signed up that night, leaving SCN behind.

4yrs, 58000miles, 8tyres,a thermostat, rear shocks, a timimg belt & pump, rear door lock, swapped lumbar supports to fix drivers side, osram nb2 headlights, arb bushes & links, 3 ncts with no retests (a visual for not orange eniugh indicators once..), a cts to be done, wheel bearing, pads & discs, drums& springs& shoes & cylinders, a pulled fuse for a rear washer fault on front wipers, a new bt headunit, gettin married, made permanent at work and becoming a father and a freedom member later.... i still love my old bus i also (despite what a couple of recent posts may have suggested..) still appreciate the brisky community and staff if i didnt i wouldve left already tbh, so everybody, keep it up! Its a great community thats been built up over time - almost a very big, happy family - and its only gonna get better :

It makes me feel old in the fabia section, keep seing the thread "post a random picture of your fabia" its somthing like 145 pages long now... and i rememebr when it first started! half of the pictures are that old they've gone missing now

Next Tuesday will mark 7 years of being on here. I always remember as it's my Birthday too. In September, it will mark 10 years of owning my Fabia.

13 years....

I would of been in year 7... Quite liked middle school, didn't think about Skoda much then.
