Hi all

 

I'm in the process of installing my 7P6035730J bluetooth module into my 2010 scout (no maxidot or MFSW)

 

Had a go last night but ran out of time and patience.  Got the module plugged into the bolero and powered up.  However I had trouble getting my phone to recognise the BT module

 

 

After pressing the phone button on the bolero it no longer just mutes the radio but it does not connect - just says words to the effect of 'no device connected'

 

Is there any reason for the phone not connecting (HTC One)?

 

Do i just need to update VCDS?

Needs to be enabled via vcds

Need to get somebody with vcds to allow pairing. So your phone can connect.

all sorted now, thanks.

 

Activated with VCDS and it all works nicely with my HTC

 

Next challenge is to get my works Sony to talk to it...
