Two years ago, the red light that flashes on top of the drivers door stopped flashing.

I asked if anyone knew why,but didn't really get an answer. Anyway,it's started flashing again just thought you'd like to know.

I didn't even know there was a light on top of the driver's door, so I'm no help!   what is it for and where is it, exactly?

Would that be the one that shows the car is locked and alarm/immobiliser activated?

M - it's on the top face of the plastic door trim, next to the window, and approx 10 inches from the front of the door.

It's a tiny red LED that is difficult to see in daylight.

Yes thanks!  Mine is flashing, so that's ok then!

"M" that's good, but if it stop's flashing, just wait a couple of years and it will come back on again.

Update on my Red Light. Its stopped flashing again.
