Milltek Zorst Changes

Featured Replies

For reasons I won't go in to know i've just changed the back box on my Milltek system.

As I began to unwrap the back box I noticed the tail pipes had been redesigned and shortened, cutting away a bit more wrapping I noticed the back hanger/mounting has been moved up the box holding the pipes higher in the cut out.

The biggest change was in the noise dept. Now a little more throatier at higher revs, all in all a much better system for it.

PS Pics to follow.

Exactly the differences I noticed with this one compared to my last RS - well the redesign, and especially the extra rortiness.

We work very closely with Milltek. Mr Milltek himself was at our last open day looking at the fit and quality of the exhausts after we had fitted them. They are constantly re designing and improving exhausts with alot of feed back from us.

Of all the exhausts ive fitted Milltek seem about the best.

Techie,

Do Milltek do a de-cat pipe or a louder back box for the Octavia.

Bought my Milltek from AmD by the way.

Actually I say I noticed but really I suspected. It was only until Des's post that I went . 'Ahh, so it definitely is looking and sounding different' !

Cheers Des!

Milltek are a pretty good fit on the vRS but they are **** poor on some other applications such as S3 and S4 they are okay quaility not a patch on supersprint though and it's a pity that some of the jap companies don't make exhausts for european cars - they can be of excellent quality with welds so tidy you wouldn't beleive it!!!
