Skoda will be represented in the WRC next year by two privateer outfits - one based around Czech champion Jan Kopecky, while a second team will be run from Austria, with backing from Red Bull.

An artists impression of the Red Bull branded Fabia WRC has already been released by the Czech manufacturer - very similar in fact to that seen in February, when 2004 DTM champion, Mattias Ekstrom contested the Swedish Rally in a Fabia WRC, and finished in tenth place.

I tend to agree with you there.

i think the redbull outfit will be a better team.. Lets face it red bull dont have a habit of doing stuff on the cheap ..... could be the best thing to happen to Skoda.

Its hard to know wheather to be happy or sad, happy to see what will hopefully be a top class privateer team but sad to see the end of the official factory team.
