Hi

The EPC light came on and the engine could only run up to approx 2000 rpm. Went to the dealer and they did a update of the "computor" ? and everthing was ok until next morning the same fault again EPC light on and also engine symbol on. Called the dealer and they recommended that I called a towing truck so the car was transported to the dealer and they said that they had to look deeper into the cause. Any ideas?

sounds like 'limp mode'

once had this on the current fabia.

both rear light bulbs were burnt,and the CPU woudlnt let the car accelerate more than 50kmh for safety reasons

many things can trigger 'limp mode'

It was a fault in the valve that adjust the camshafts position regarding to the rpm. The changed the valve and now everything seems to be ok.
