niggly faults

Featured Replies

Had a thread going about loose sat nav surround, mine on my columbus equipped L&K 280 squeaked over bumps and could be moved about 3mm in all directions if you gave it a prod.was repaired around a week ago,all fine for a few days, now its back, and worse, you can now pull the whole sat nav unit and surround away from the dash, not held in at all, whatever they tried to do they have failed.also a wheel arch protector has decided to part company with the wheel arch and is hanging down, and the drivers side windsreen washer has packed up!! Not happy.my previous octavia vrs tsi was eventually rejected due to a list of faults, the rattling sunroof being the one they just couldnt repair allthough they even replaced the whole roof,at a cost of two grand!still rattled!!this resulted in them changing it for the superb with a sizeable goodwill gesture.the 280 is a fantastic car,but for the second time,my patience is being tested.fingers crossed when it goes in next week all will be repaired, propally, and i can carry on enjoying my wheels. Kevin.

Hope they solve the issues

Fingers crossed you don't have further problems

My Columbus refused to read the nav data, so tried starting and restarting and did not work, popped into the dealer and then it started to work straight away!

Will keep an eye on it

I have an annoying but of a grind noise on big road humps. Not going up them only when the car drops down them the other side. The road humps have to be quite abrupt not slow rising ones. Tends to happen more when its cold. I think its the anti roll bar bushes. Had a similar issue on an old vectra i had.

The one downside to driving not just a brand new car but a brand new model, you guys are the guinea pigs!
