I'm looking for my first Skoda and have decided that a secondhand diesel Yeti 4x4 is the best vehicle for my needs.

 

Do all diesel powered Skodas have DPF filters fitted?

 

When I had my last diesel vehicle these filters weren't about and looking on the internet some vehicles are advertised with DPF filters and others have mo mention of them!

Hi Russ,

I believe that with new Euro5/Euro6 regulations ALL Diesels will need to run a DPF. The only "modern" Skodas that wont are ones that use the 1.9 or 2.0 PD on the FWD drivetrain. Hope that helps a little. I'm sure someone more clued up on "newer" cars will have a better answer.

All skoda vehicles using the common rail engine have a dpf fitted.

I don't recall any yeti having had the older type pd engine without a dpf fitted.
