Hi my pedal goes probably 95% of the way to the floor smoothly , I then have to press slightly harder for it to go all the way to the floor......

 

Anyone else have this?

I think most cars have that these days - the final 5% is used to override the speed limiter/activate kickdown etc.

If it's the same as my wife's Seat Leon, in eco mode the 95% point is mapped to 70% throttle and you get a nice burst of extra acceleration when you kick down to 100%.  Sadly there's no overboost in the other modes.

My manual C Class has this to disengage the cruise control.
