Hello from Ross-on -Wye, we have just bought an Oct Scout, 13 plate, 25K miles, but boy are they expensive!, after an extensive search we found one locally but it was 11.5K for a 6 yr old car!, finally got one 'uup North' for 13.5 but only 3 yrs old.

It replaces a Seat Altea that re-kitted its engine on Christmas Day!.

We live in the country and have managed without 4x4 until now but the Scout seems to be the best of all worlds.

Have had it checked over by local dealer, MOT was due and various bits done, such as Haldex svc, AC service, not due full service until Aug.

But we do need a towbar!, I understand that these may be an issue, but thats for another forum !.

Any advice greatly welcomed.
