After a bit of a snow-starved winter, the opportunity was too good to miss

 

We've got a full week of 38s and 39s ahead with no relief in sight other than looking at muddyboots' pictures.

-   Ah the Just up the road from where my brother-in-law used to live - a world apart from where I am weatherwise even though it's just a few miles. I've seen that much snow blown up into drifts over 20 feet deep in that area in years gone by.

Here's our Yeti last week, at almost 2000m altitude.

I don't live there, I live about 20 miles southeast, but drove up specially

And I'm driving to Astun (in Spain on the French border) next week. That's snowy and quite high; it bloody well should be too, it's a ski resort. I might report on how I get on.

You need to give me a heads up next time you are going out to play in the snow.

I'll come over and we can convoy it, 2 white snow yeti's would look pretty cool

Why does it have to happen in my Sector!!

I sooooo love Unimogs :) No idea why, always have   I think it started as the name made me giggle

I'm in a 4x4 dsg loaner yeti at the moment and found it handled the 6-8 inches of snow over the Pennines very well, even on the factory Goodyear efficiency tyres.

I was in Myherin on Sunday, slept in the car Saturday night!!!

 

Usual stuff of cars on roofs, vanishing into the trees etc - must be something strange in our choice of leisure activities  (off topic and not Yeti related  )
