Skoda Experiment (Hello)

Featured Replies

Hello Community,

My name is Milan, I live in Ontario, Canada but am originally and currently from/in Slovakia's Trencin Region - Land of Skodas. I'm one of the founders of the #CAMMED group (Canadian Automotive Members Meets and Enthusiast Drives) and one of the more active TDB members. If anyone here is in TDB - Hello crazies! :D

I have built many cars, but just bought my first classic RR Skoda (a 120). I convinced my cousin to help me buy it, and we are going to build it up a bit for the sole purpose of racing it at the Slovakiaring. If it can survive its ~6 months with me, I will drive it up to Germany or France or something and ship it back to Slovakia with me... Where it would get stripped down and turned into a more - violent - car. Contemplating a B-series swap but I don't actually know if the stock engine is a CW or CCW rotating engine. Think its a CCW in which case a Honda powerplant would work. Could also use an H-series. That would be interesting.

Anyhow. I joined this forum because I don't know much (anything really) about older Skodas, and figured someone here could give me a hand if I ever faced an issue.
I'll put up a build thread and links to the relative DriverMod articles that will follow this project.

Hopefully the car survives.

If not...

R.I.P. Tangerine

Thank you!

- Milan

TL;DR - Slovakian from Canada. Bought Skoda 120, about to race it. B-series swap maybe? Tangerine. ;)
