Well... this Smart Link is not too smart really..

Im really struggling to get a connection, maybe 1 in 6 trys.

The keys issues is the phone requests a prompt for me to allow a computer to connect to it when the USB is connected - click OK.

System then trys to connect... the odd time it will connect first time... however it it fails, i need to disconnect it and start again...

So far, when it works, its good... but the constant having to plug in, disconnect etc to get it to work has started to loose the appeal.

Im using a genuine blackberry short lead with my LG G3.

Anyone else having these issues ?

Updated to marshmallow at last, all seems ok.

.... but do not like the six tap knock code.

I have now found if I just select the "allow computer to connect " and then select smart link and the phone Android auto works

However what I have found is if I leave the phone connected and turn off the car.. When I turn it back on it wants to add my phone as a new Bluetooth device which is annoying
