Order by midnight Monday the 28th.

Thanks. I might get some H15 Osram Cool Blue Intense to go with my H7 Night Breaker Ultimates.

Anyone tried the OSRAM Xenarc Nightbreaker Unlimited D3S bulbs?

Given the fact that a lot of people think the O3 Xenon lights aren't the best (myself included), these may be worth a shout? £109 each though...not sure I can justify that for a PCH car!

Sorry for the torrent of "bone/stupid" questions which are to follow!  I have almost zero idea about these kinds of things, so please bear with me.

Why are the factory O3 Xenon's not very good?

What is classified as a good replacement brand?  Phillips or Osram?  Or is it the type - D1S and D3S.

Whats the difference between 4100k and 5000k for example?  Does this matter?

What is the difference between D3S and D1S?

Osram D1S Xenarc Night Breakers = £69.99.

Phillips Xenon Xtreme Vision D1S = £89.99.

D3S Xenarc NB = £109.99.

Phillips Xenon Xtreme Vision D3S = £89.99 each - website says D1S for Skoda Octavia 2013 --> HID.  Whats the difference?

I ordered some of the LED reserve bulbs that Aki78 recommended so reserving is safer.

Is it worth getting new bulbs for indicators?  If so, which ones?

Thanks, sorry for all the questions.

Seb

Indicator wise these work well for the rear

As for the front, unless your prepared to take the bumper off to get at the headlights, then don't bother getting any. Oh and they are different from the rears. As I found out having ordered two sets of the above from Powerbulbs. Sent one set back no problems, good customer service from these guys.

If replacing the Xenons requires a bumper removal then I'm glad my Octy has halogens.

Seb, k is the measure of colour of light, 4200 is pure white and the legal limit.

Thank you all for your replies.

Seems like there are a number of variables here.  Colour, intensity and longevity?

I will have to do some proper research.

Thanks
