Re the time of +40.61 agreed that gives an average of over 100 but whats even more amazing is that he will actually have achieved well in excess of 100 as should you arive at a checkpoint early under the rules & to "discourage racing" you can only have the time that the checkpoint opens.

Rob got to the first check point in the south of Spain (1183 miles) 2.5 hours early, so unless he had a terrible stage later he should be well over 100. Either awesome or mad, depends how you view it. He also won this years Gunball where I believe the rules are more suited to his way of driving.

Having said all that he had a Porsche GT2 which is an awesome bit ok kit capable of speeds in excess of 200.

Stuart - I'm considering entering next years CBR but see from the entry form that sponsorship seems to be frowned upon. Having looked at teh Whitelightning vids tho, it seems that loads of people had their own sponsors - can you clarify this please?
