Bi-xenon head lights. Is it just me

Featured Replies

I have bi- Xenon's on my R36 true cornering lights in the same unit and are great, but  they pale next to my missuses Renault Kadjar with Duel led lamps with auto high low beam that senses another's cars tail/headlamps quicker than you could react , the light is incredible but not flashed at once . Led lamps also do not require washers like Xenon's do , i don't know why

I believe that LED systems always require automatic levelling (this may have changed) and any light source over 2000lm requires both washers and automatic levelling.

The advantage of LED systems it that almost all the light created can be directed at the road where as halogen and xenon systems can have massive losses due to the projectors or reflectors. This is why a sub 2000lm LED  system can outperform a 3200lm xenon system.
