Text copied and pasted as is. Shows how long they last.

Ex Private Hire Fleet Car.

High Mileage 325000. Tatty condition as you would expect for this mileage.

Starts and drives fine. Suspected Camshaft, crankshaft & heater fault. We have also recently found oil in the water.

I had a ajm mk4 golf tdi. It went to 334k before a cracked block killed it.

Seen a couple of cabs with over 300k on there. Talk about getting your money's worth!

advert says 343025 miles now.

On the mobile view the main advert says 325000, but as you say the detailed description says 343025. Still a bit of a difference. Should be scrapped surely with all the faults.

Might make sense in terms of 'bangernomics'.  Needs a long test drive.

I think when a car's got past 300k, the other numbers don't really matter so much.

Externally, it doesn't look that bad. Stick another engine in it, do as much tidying as you think it needs, and you've got a mk2 for mk1 money.
