Goodie Bags !

Featured Replies

Hi,

Reference has been made to " Goodie bags " that come with the cars ( some ? ) so -- which cars & what do you get ?

david

I'm guessing that these will be what your dealer decides to give to you on the handover of the vehicle, of course some might give you nothing.

I got 6-bottles of wine and a bouquet of flowers.

I ordered mine on the day before Presentation Day in September, they had a big display in the dealers and my salesman just grabed a Skoda bag and chucked a few things in, Coffe mug, pen, bag, leather bound writing pad, leather key fob and a baseball cap.

The staff who were organising the presentation looked a bit upset as he took them straight off the display!

I got a key ring.

And a healthy cash discount :)

Same here. And a cup of coffee.

Might have got a goody bag but they wanted £168 to fit winter tyres and a full set of mud flaps!

Fitted the mudflaps myself in twenty minutes and got the local garage to fit the tyres for £40!

I got key ring which the keys were on.

When I say key ring.. I mean just the metal ring

I got a lease car bag though... Free mats, hiviz, triangle

I got 2 boot light/torches.

Opened the boot on collection day and noticed it was missing so the sales guy grabbed one from a car in the showroom.

When I got home I found mine inside the spare wheel.

^ hehe. Oh, I also got a clear bumper protection film, hidden under the boot floor.

A toaster and some socks would be nice when mine eventually arrives!!

I am glad !, had we explained it would be a case of one less member ( banned ) i think !

No goody bag but free fitting of winter tyres (I did buy the rims through the dealer but not the tyres), an extra set of boot nets (dealer error) and a key ring that doubles as a trolley token.

At the dealers I was told I would get a set of Mats chucked in, on a SE-L Model, however I shopped round a bit after that and for more than three grand less, than their SE-L SPEC., ended up with a L& K which has the mats fitter anyway, Got to love NCD, saved money and got a spec. higher, and by the looks of it got it in 12 weeks if it arrives as they have stated next Thursday at my door. Don't care if there is no Goody bag think Ive already had it.

21% off the RRP

The best I could get locally was about £2k off, so I’m not complaining.

Almost £2k less for a new L&K with 4x4 and more extras than a six month old dealer's 2wd L&K with 5000mls on the clock.

...just keep your goody bag. I can wait for the car the S2 is just fine for now.

I got a Winter Pack, Rug Sack, Keyring, Watch, Chocolates for herself & Lifeshine thrown in, plus a few extra bottles of Lifeshine & clothes so was pretty pleased.

I got nothing.

Didn't expect anything anyway as it's on PCH.

The Lifeshine thing dealers try and fire up you makes me laugh. Most expensive bottle of Autoglym ever.
