Headlight washer system

Featured Replies

Hi, according to the spec my new SE-L has a headlight washer system. What & where is it ??       No sign of a wiper blade on it ???.   Thanks

They are high pressure jets, they work off the front screen wash stalk, as long as your washer fluid isn't low.

:D Small apertures below the headlights. Easily found and tested - just stand immediately in front of the car, turn the headlights and ignition on and get someone to operate the screen wash stalk  :D

:D.

You can see better if you look really closely....like, nose nearly touching the headlight...you can get a proper good view then  :peek:

They also cover your freshly washed & waxed Brilliant Silver bonnet with a lovely covering of Brilliant Screen Wash Blue globules.

Nice, and thanks all for the help, but without a wiper blade does it help ??

I think it does help a little.

It's more because it's a regulation that xenon headlamps must have a self washing facility, rather than because Skoda like adding nice features. They just advertise it as a feature to sell more ;)

Here they are in action :)

Oh wow, I thought those little panels below the headlights were access to the wiring!    How many more surprises does this car have for me ???     Thanks
