Hello from the Isle of Wight

Featured Replies

Hi.

I became the owner of my Fabia Monte Carlo 3 months ago now, very happy with it :)

She has done just over 9000 miles now, 2000 of those are by me.

Its the 1.2 TSI 90bhp version, which seems to be quite nippy, enough for the Isle of Wight roads anyway (mostly spent avoiding potholes and massive lorries on tiny roads). Its nice to my wallet too, averages about 48mpg, baring in mind it only does short journeys daily.

I have a few small plans for it, mudguards (hopefully keep her a bit cleaner!), wind deflectors, caliper paint.

I've also had a look around for small performance mods, but its obviously only a 1.2 and relatively new so not many around yet.

The induction kits and blow off valves seem expensive for no gain apart from the blow off hiss, also I can't find any exhaust kits for it, although they would probably be out of my budget anyway, bad enough buying her! :p
