Will a Gemini fit in the spare wheel well ?

Recommended Posts

I bought a space saver 18" on ebay with tyre jack and brace delivered for about 100 and fits beautifully, Much more peace of mind than that tin of crap and a pump. Its only till id get the tyre sorted anyway

Yes the 18'' Gemini will fit in the spare wheel well, as I recently got hold of one as a spare. However it does raise the carpet very slightly (perhaps quarter of an inch, what ever that is in metric !). I didn't fancy the idea of using the 'bicycle' space saver which came with the car in an emergency, especially when towing the caravan.

1 inch is 25,4mm.

I can confirm this as well. The carpet sticks up a bit though maybe about 1 inch in my case because I have some old rags protecting the well from tyre scuffs.but not a great loss in the caverness boot of even the hatchback
