Trunk doesn't want to close

Hi All,

I experience not being able to close the trunk door. Hence the twin door function is not even possible. When closing, after the tow normal clicks, the little motor doesn't pull the door in. I can only reopen it with the remote.

I took off the cover, and by manually closing a lock with a screwdriver a motor operates, while the door is open. Manually opening the lock I can close it to the normal position, however the dashboard still indicates open trunk.

Recently we had to start the car with the boost cable, probably the battery is dying.

Is it really that simple, and I only need to replace the battery?
