Stiffer suspension on 1.0 S

Featured Replies

Having had cause to drive  my wife's Fabia  with a little gusto, you may think that's impossible with a 1.0, but it's not, I found the suspension a bit wallowy. Does anybody know if there are any uprated springs/shockers available yet?

Not seen any yet im afraid

Try upping the tyre pressures to 2.5 bar all round first.

This tends to firm the suspension up and make the steering faster to react.

Thanks AG Falco

The sports-package option comes with somewhat stiffer springs which prpbably are available as spares.

At a price.

H&R and Eibach both make sports springs for the mk3 fabia. They'll be stuffer and lower the car so will feel a lot better through corners.

If you go to their respective websites and use the application finders then you'll get part numbers. I've found them online for £130 - £150.

I believe the springs Skoda sell are actually made by Eibach too.
