It's not what we hoped for, not a true sport upgrade... however it is a subtle sporting trim pack.

Milton Keynes, 28 June 2016: ŠKODA is giving its customers a sporting chance this summer with the latest addition to its award-winning Superb range. Available as an Estate or Hatchback, the new Superb SportLine offers an enhanced design; highlighted by 19-inch Anthracite Vega alloy wheels, sports design bumpers, sunset glass, and black gloss trim treatment on the grille, wing mirrors, window surrounds and rear spoiler (Hatch only). The Estate features black gloss roof rails and body-coloured spoiler.

Inside, the Superb SportLine features an enhanced appearance which includes a three-spoke Super Sport multifunction steering wheel with silver stitching, quilted Alcantara sports seats, LED ambient lighting, carbon dashboard trim, aluminium pedals and black headlining. Its segment-leading practicality remains, with a 625-litre load area (660 litres for the Estate) and generous passenger space.

The standard kit list also includes Bi-Xenon headlights, Columbus Navigation and Wi-Fi, rear parking sensors, Drive Mode Select, dual-zone climate control, KESSY keyless entry and cruise control. A sports chassis lowers the car’s ride height by 15mm, and an XDS electronic differential lock ensures sharper handling.

Available in Moon White metallic, Quartz Grey metallic, Business Grey metallic, Brilliant Silver metallic, Black Magic pearl effect and Corrida Red, the SportLine also introduces Dragon Green metallic as an exclusive option.

The Superb SportLine is available in three petrol and two diesel engines, with the option of four-wheel drive and six-speed DSG automatic gearbox. The range-topping 2.0-litre TSI 280PS 4X4 can sprint from 0-62mph in just 5.8 seconds while the 2.0-litre TDI 150PS emits just 109g/km, ensuring it remains an attractive proposition for company car buyers.

Don't they mean they're giving customers a sporting chance next summer, there's no hope of owning one this summer!!

Now THAT i LIKE.....

Shut up and take my money!! Haha!

That in the estate would be awesome.. 280bhp and 4wd!!!

I would happily swap the seats and wheels from that to my current car.

Just in time for the Yeti Greenline to be swoped :)

I'd like an estate in silver please :)

Sign me up! Would have to be an Estate though, 280bhp and 4 x 4 = FUN

Love the seats !
