Hi, just noticed that there is mention of SD card as well USB in the Fabia brochure and wondered if anybody could advise where to find the slot? I've had my new SEL for a month now and don't recall seeing a SD card slot anywhere. Thanks

It's in the glove box the SD slot, as you open it look top right, it's a little tucked up but easy to spot.

Took me ages to find it too as I kept looking in the glovebox from the drivers side......

just to add - you can use up to 64Gb cards without issue.. not tried any higher personally - but they work flawlessly - just don't insert them or remove whilst the SD card is in use though.. and if you need to update your entertainment system, you put the update on the card in the root folder..

He told me the Brochure was wrong and the Fabia MKIII didn't have one.

What a knob he was!.. The thing is about brochures they are based on the Czech version of the car - so the glovebox is on the other side of the car.. and that's why it is wrong.. just like the Smartgate module being located under the passenger seat not the drivers seat in the UK.. a case of RTFM to the max!  It should be a law that car dealers shouldn't be allowed to sell anything unless they've read every manual to every car at least twice over and know the car they are selling like a black cab driver knows all the streets in central london!

Same things with the Polos, which have the same sort of system in the S models. In those there's no glovebox unit like the systems in the Octavia/Golf etc, which the higher spec Polos have too.
