Jonno(boxer man meself).

Anybody got an opinion of that 'Hamster' DVD, that's been out a while now?

ie. Is it worth buying?

John.

I got it for Chrimbo too.... it's good, but I think Clarkson on his own is a bit much. I prefer when Hamster & Captain Slow are there to pull the **ss out of him.

I watched the TVR Sagaris bit again today

One very disapointing feature of this DVD however is the pi.ss poor music :thumbdwn:

tis the same music Clarkson uses for all his dvd's......Gash!

and i do get bored with the explosion/cut up/beat up a car bits tbh

After watching the DVD i have to say it was ok but nothing special,i agree about the smashing/blowing up part,is getting pretty stale :(

  • 2 weeks later...

Watched this DVD this afternoon and am surprised that no-one mentioned the Octy vs Mk4 GTi vs Rover 25 drag race

I also find it interesting that he also pits himself against the Stig in races - you know the outcome from the start (although he did cheat in the Monaro vs Evo dra race by jumping the lights!)

Chris

Might be coz it was the PD130-engined version, a bit of PD power at work :D - was a severe beating though :D

Did wonder if it was an adequately powered SDI, the way it was being driven

Not mine, honest. Did the Octy lose by that much then?

There was a previous thread on the "Race" somewhere.

Anyway the "Race" has to be a setup/fake etc. The Golf is a Mk4 Anni with 180bhp. The 2.0 bag'o'bolts GTI might lose to a Rover 25, but not an Anni.
