How much is my car worth?

Featured Replies

Well, whats it worth then?

Elegance Estate front wheel drive

92,450 miles

Jabba remap could be removed if required

Cayenne Red

Immaculate bodywork and interior

Cam belt changed at 75k

All coil packs done

Generally a good all rounder

I cant say "never been raced" as that would be a lie.

I'm thinking about

I don't know, but are you going to provide the new owner with videos of it being driven by the current careful owner? :)

 What....after all that hard work you put in today, you now want to sell it:rolleyes:

:P Phil

Depends how old it is? Can't see a reg date.

Ah sorry - its a 51 reg.

Irrelevant now though SWMBO says I cant sell it as its a waste of money :( However when I told her all the suspension bushes are knackered and the ARB's need changing she said thats fine, she'll pay ;)

Shame I diddnt think to say the turbo is dead

Try the Vauxhall valuation guide below. I used it for you and came up with PEX valuations of:

Excellent condition - £3460

Average condition - £3100

Below average - £2720.

PS: I used 95000 miles.

ARB and bushes are cheap parts though aren't they? Get wishbones (inc bushes) , ARB bushes and bars done and you should be good for at least another 30k miles?

Mind you, you might need whole new front shocks by now?

Shocks are not too bad. Toying with fitting VRs suspension so I may change when that is done.

EDIT: front ARB's for non-VRS/non-4x4 Octavias dont exist, so I'll have to change to VRS suspension do do the ARB's.

Isn't the front ARB on the non-vRS just the same as FWD Golf Mk4's?

Fitting the suspension from a vRS Estate sounds like a good idea though, especially if you can get hold of a low mileage setup cheaply.

So the S2k is out of the question then?

It was previously stated on here that it wasn't the same as the Golf.

Finding low mileage VRS suspension is easy..... if you have a hatchback :(

Seems odd that Octy would be different. All the 4wd's e.g. 4motion, 4x4, S3, TT are the same plus the vRS and LCR. So would have thought the fwd cars would share a common setup e.g. Golf GTI, Non-vRS Octavia and non-LCR Leon.

It was "The Oracle" who told me ;) But then he could be wrong.

Eibach list a kit for the non-vRS. Contains a 25mm front and 25mm rear.

Just checked H&R and they also list a kit.
