Electric Window Problems

Featured Replies

When I operate the switch to close my front offside electric window it sometimes stops partway up and then goes down. All by itself!

If I keep trying it eventually goes all the way to the top without stopping.

Is this an early warning that something is about to fail!!??

Usually it's the switch itself spazzing out, you have to replace both of them as a unit.

The anti trap is activating. Clean the window and channel and lubricate with silicone spray. Then reset the torque limit of the motor (same process as setting one touch).

Thanks for the reply, Tech1e. Where can I read how to reset the torque limit please?

It's the same as setting one touch. With the window already up pull the up switch again until you hear the motor click.
