Error codes P0102, P0113, P0237

Hello all,

I bought a Skoda Octavia 1.9 tdi used for 160000 kms in India. After purchase, on a long ride, I observed that car is not pulling as it should be. 0-60 kmph is taking a high 14.5 seconds. I can feel that Turbo is not giving the punch I need. When Air Con is turned on, the car is suffering even more with acceleration. But it never lacked the torque I need. Going through Briskoda, I came to know about MAF sensor. I unplugged the MAF sensor and went in for a drive but the results are not improved. So bought a OBD II scanner to get the above mentioned codes, which confirms that MAF sensor is low on input. The code P0237 saying "Turbo Boost Sensor "A" circuit low. Local Mechanic says, Turbo need to be checked for leaks. He don't know about MAF. ASS says Turbo and MAF needs replacement which costs a bomb in India. Is Turbo Boost Sensor low input is caused by malfunctioning MAF or both are independent problems?

Note: Fuel Economy is 16-18 KM/Liter.

Have you cleared the MAF code since you unplugged it?

The fault code on the boost pressure sensor is an electrical fault code not a mechanical issue with the turbo. You need to check the wiring to the sensor itself.
