  • Do you have a link to the original ? just trying to guess what was translated to "yes four eyes face"

  • It's a photoshop from a magazine with an - at best - average prediction history. Wait until actual pictures appear.

  • £27K Well you get a base model with 1.0 TSI for that kind of money in Norway!   My 1.8 TSI L&K 4x4 was above £40K fully loaded.   Stop complaining!

Poor sales probably have something to with the £27K base price combined with a budget-brand. Add a few toys a the price climbs close to £30K, Most people still would not cosider paying BMW or Audi money for a Skoda.

If only we could get the 1.8 tsi with 4x4 in the UK.

Yep, my 2.0 TDI DSG 4x4 was €42K fully loaded :)

Almost 50 000£ for my 230 fully loaded in Norway.

Pointless comparing costs in different territories. Unless you can create some kind of Briskoda friendly formula to take into account cost of living, quality of living, salaries etc.

Its just taxes on the car in Norway. All cars have it but not electric cars like Tesla.

Wrote the wild price just for fun.

Ok I'll re-phrase my comment.

Perhaps if the 4x4 was available in a manual it might have done better, it's a bit like the downfall of the Fabia MKII, Vrs, only available with DSG and a Petrol

The best and greatest Vrs of all time was the Fabia MKI PD Vrs,      I've had two

** Other Vrs's, Diesel or Petrol, Fabia or Octavia  are available  **

On the Mk1 Fabia Vrs I can only agree with you, I regret the day I traded SWMBO's one in for the petrol version. If I could buy it back I would!

Yes indeed I'm quite frustrated about the lack of petrol 4x4 models in the UK.  I would buy just about any new Octavia Estate with 4x4 and a petrol engine. I don't do a stratospheric annual mileage, but I do live out in the sticks.

It seems a purely marketing decision as you can get RHD petrol 4x4 models in other markets.
