Something always gets in the way. One day I will have a toy in the garage, one day!!!!!!

Always liked these. Look great and with the noise produced you can't go wrong!  B)

Resistors arrived today to slow the LED front indicator rate down. Hoping to get them fitted on Sunday...

Lovely motor. I used those resistors on my 4x4 when I swapped the front indicators and got the fast flash, they work well :)

Which engine does it have? I love TVRs, at least the ones with a V8 :)

Awesome, they were only a couple of pounds each too. My electrical knowledge says I can just wire them straight into the circuit? Some people online have done allsorts of weird and wonderful circuits with them!

It's the mere 4litre. They did a 4, 4.3, 4.5 and 5L version.

The 5l would have been nice, but they're a fair bit more ££ and for me, while it's a sports car, with us, it'll be used more as a Sunday cruiser.

Custom made brushed ally indicator stalks arrived today too, so they'll be going on soon too.

I was told by a TVR mechanic that 5.0 was a bit too far to take the engine and if driven hard it could fail :( Epic noises though. I hope the new TVRs will sound at least half as good

Sure I just wired them online, it's been a while since I did them

Nice mate I've always had a soft spot for a Trevor

Wasn't it the front fog / scoop on the Chimaera that was inspired by the owner's dog taking a bite out of one of the early clay models of it?

I'd actually be put off by a really low mileage on a TVR; they're one of the cars that actually go wrong more often if they're not driven regularly.

There are loads of threads about that on the net Ken. You could argue both ways (and people do). A low mileage car has less wear, but less circulation and more chance of seizing.

Mines done ~88k, which is roughly 4k/year...not bad for a 20 yr old!

The ultra low 30-40k ones that look rough as anything beg certain questions. I'd rather have a higher mileage, but with full history than a low mileage one with none.

No more progress as yet (something in the pipeline soon hopefully), but took it for a spin last weekend and took a few snaps.
