Tyre life?

Featured Replies

Just had to replace the front two 18s on the 1.6 SE after 22k, £90 a corner from Black Circles.

Should have rotated them a year ago, as they're pretty much slicks, while the rears look new.

Not looking forward to tyres on the VRS, as the 19s are only going to cost more.

Hopefully these will last longer, as it's 95% motorway.

My vRS has just touched 12K miles and is 2 yr old, however the OEM fitted Bridgestones are ALL showing small cracks on the shoulders. Due in for it's 2yr service this week so I will be raising the point. Wouldn't touch these tyres again. Continental every time. They always come out top in the EVO mag tyre tests.
