Hi there just looking for some feedback on Cardiff Independent Volkswagen Specialist on Penarth Road.

They look good from their website but it could very well be a red herring

My dad has used them for a number of years, very good from our experience.

Just took our Yeti there for a minor service yesterday, all great even washed and cleaned car.

Richie and Peter are the owners, great blokes.

I use a mobile who was with Cardiff Audi, does my Superb and my Audi TT. He's good but busy PM me if you want a contact.

Used CIVS for the first time yesterday. Great service and top blokes in general. Will definitely be using again.

I used them and they are fantastic. £100 for a minor service (£250+ in the stealers).

Also used them this week (for what I now know is a turbo actuator fault). I called and asked for advice. He said to pop in if I'm passing and he'll read the faults for me. I asked how much and he said just come in and not to worry. I need a new actuator which is £288 fitted.

He said I can't fit you in for two weeks but I said that I've got the emissions remap on the 26th Jan. He then said I've heard that some dealers are fixing some faults for free so let's see what happens.

He could of easily said nothing and booked me in anyways.

Top chap. It's nice to see honesty.

I can't praise them enough. It's safe to say I'll be back for my major service at least.

He was mentioned to me the other day, turns out he goes mountain biking with a few of other mates. I've heard good things.

Glen is a top bloke. Highly recommend 

I now regularly use them for both mine and my wife's cars. I cannot recommend them enough. I have used them for minor services up to gearbox problems.

 

What I love about them is that theres no messing about like some garages. They find the fault and fix it within days. Full gearbox removal, gear selectors replaced, clutch and flywheel and my car was back in 3 days.

 

I wont use anyone else.
