Work out what's important to your SWMBO and then try to match it up to the car.

Things like heated seats and ISOFIX in the Furby were popular for SWMBO in my case. I have since purchased a 'few' items as per my sig that she doesn't really have much knowledge about (or interest in, for that matter). obviously never met you... but its funny how you get an idea about someone from there car, and forum presence.... this is why i dont understand why people can say they fall in love with some one on the net... they fall in love with the person they think they know...the reality as in this case is very diffrent...

As others said, depends what she likes / doesn't like. With me the Octy was easy to sell with a baby on the way:

a) safer than the old banger Mondeo I had, with good brakes etc; and

huge boot for all the baby crap.

... obviously she knew that it would also be fun, but the practicality side of the car sold it to her

In response to the earlier post regarding having a wife at 24 I got married at 26 but we've lived together since we bought our first house when I was 19 and she was 18.
