2005 AMF 1.4TDI no boost, wiring problem?

6Q0127224? First item 6 here? Or is that the outer casing and the bit you need (14 and 15 in the workshop manuals image?) :confused:

 

Is there not a part number anywhere on the busted bit?  If not you probably have to buy both together. Try that 6Q0127224 part number on a good motor factor, but I suspect it may be dealer only.

Ok so this is now solved...

The bosch sensor suplied from EuroCarParts was duff. How unlucky is that?

What fooled me was the fact that both sensors were completely dead when it came to live data. I assumed that they would still produce some sort of reading.

Anyway, if anyone experiences something simlar, go ahead and swap the sensor out for another!

I have managed to cable tie the fuel filter housing for now! Looks expensive!! :(

I won't use ECP for anything delicate, they just smash everything up and their pattern sensors are awful crap.
